“Bridging Divides” Learning to Depolarize Our Relationships Video & Discussion Series Facilitated by Marla Estes, MA.
THIRD WEDNESDAYS Monthly at 7pm: Mar 18, Apr 15, May 20, Jun 17, Jul 15, Aug 19
Wed. Mar. 18, 7-9pm: Video: "What Happened to Conversation on Campus?"
Tonight we’ll explore how bridging is, and isn’t, showing up in colleges and universities today. Through a series of short videos, we’ll examine questions around free speech, viewpoint diversity, and why conversations on campus so often break down, and what might help them work better.
Join facilitator Marla Estes each month to watch fascinating and insightful videos carefully selected to explore ways to depolarize and then engage in a facilitated discussion to help integrate new perspectives.
With a background in Psychology, Marla created Building Bridgers in 2017 to address the growing social and political polarization in our country.
For nearly 20 years, she has been giving presentations, movie nights, book groups, workshops, and classes helping people learn to develop insights and skills in approaching difficult conversations, deepening and growing healthy, functional, and fulfilling relationships.
