The free membership option will still require you to buy a race pass for insurance on the day (£2 for under 25s, £8 for 25+). We have a fabby fully insulated metal drink bottle with a straw that fits in your bottle cage for all participants this year. There will be complimentary finish line refreshments and hot food vans on site.
The junior categories catered for include: TriStar Starts, T1, T2, T3 and Youth. They start with a pool swim followed by a technical grass bike circuit before running laps of the 400m track. The grass is usually firm in May but a bit of rain can certainly increase the challenge and your bike tyres and footwear should be ready for this!
The sprint triathlon is open to any one age 16+ on the day. This early season event is perfect for chalking up some rapid times to warm up for the Welsh Superseries or just to achieve your own goals in a friendly setting. A 400m pool swim is followed by blasting through the Vale of Clwyd on a 24km fast road route and finishing with a 5km run on quiet country lanes. Please be aware that roads are shared with public traffic so due courtesy is appreciated.
