About this Event
How do we define a dialogue? The term derives from the Greek "dia" meaning through, by, or because of, and "logos" meaning words, speech, reason, or principle. Indeed, words are a wonderful form of communication, and beautiful words are featured in this very exhibition, but this collection of work demonstrates that dialogue can occur through many mediums. In drawing, painting, poetry, and sculpture, the students of the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts have explored dialogue symbolically through images and words, while engaging in an artistic dialogue through both intra and interdisciplinary collaboration.
