Cleveland’s Slow Groove Kings deliver a smoky, hypnotic blend of Southern soul, late-night rock, and dive-bar mysticism. The six-piece band is led by frontman and songwriter Brett Potts, whose voice anchors a sound that shifts between grit and grace.
The Kings’ lineup includes guitarist Tim Parnin, bassist Chris Nunnari, pianist Chris Lugo, drummer Zach Horstman, and vocalist Autumn Skye, whose haunting harmonies and rising melodies bring a captivating sweetness. Together, they craft songs that simmer with tension and atmosphere, balancing raw emotion with restrained power.
Their debut release, The Nashville Vampire Supper Club EP (August 2025), invites listeners to the band’s cinematic sound—somewhere between the dynamic energy of The Pixies, the ghostly calm of Mazzy Star, and the brutal honesty of Johnny Cash.
