Join Lauren from Handmade by LCB on June 2nd at 5:30 p.m. when she will you guide you through the entire process of making this professionally painted wood Rustic Watermelon Trio into your own custom set to enjoy for years to come! Step by step instructions will be provided along with various tips and tricks you can use now and into the future.
This workshop features a chunky layered Watermelon, a 3-tier Book Stack, a Sun, and 2 adorable Ants carrying watermelon chunks. You will be provided with these hand-cut prepared and textured wood pieces as well as a multitude of options and techniques to fully customize your project and develop your skills from painting methods to sanding, antiquing, and beyond. Under Lauren’s guidance, you will tailor, create, and assemble your pieces utilizing an extensive range of acrylic paint colors, numerous assorted fabrics and decorative elements, various stencils and stamps, and several optional antiquing methods to give your project that grungy aged look. Feel free to bring any special fabrics or decorative elements you would possibly like to incorporate into the Trio!
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, including beginners! Whether you are experienced or are new to painting and crafting, you are sure to enjoy this workshop. Due to the use of tools such as hot glue guns, the workshop is recommended for ages 12 and up. All tools and supplies are provided. Don’t forget: The Back Mountain Makery is a Licensed B.Y.O.B Establishment, and snacks are ALWAYS welcome!
The finished Watermelon is approximately 5” tall, 5” wide, and 1.5” thick; finished 3-tier Book Stack is approximately 2.25” tall, 5” long, and 3.5” wide; the finished Sun is approximately 4.75” tall, 5” wide, and .75” deep; and the two finished Ants carrying watermelon chunks are approximately 2” tall, 2” wide, and 1.75” long. The workshop will be approximately 2 ½ hours and costs $62.00.

Workshop will be Non-Refundable with any "No Show/No Call.” ALL cancellations need to be called in to (570) 468-2719 or sent via Facebook message no later than 3 days/72 hours prior to the Workshop scheduled date and time. Cancellations within 3 days/72 hours of the workshop may have the option to be provided with a store credit or refunded the ticket price paid MINUS any applicable 10% credit card and restocking fees.
