What started with some shoulder pain and later on some abdominal pain, ended with a trip to the ER. Russ was then diagnosed with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer. He was accepted into a clinical trial at Mayo Rochester where treatment began on August 6th. Following a bout of pancreatitis and an endovascular procedure for an aneurysm in his splenic artery, he started chemotherapy on August 12th. Russ will continue to receive chemotherapy and trial treatment for several cycles over the next 6 months to one year.
We decided to help Russ and his family out by doing a benefit for them. Saturday, January 3rd at 29 Pines Convention Center. Raffles and a Dart Tournament to boot! Stay tuned to this event page for more details regarding the event!
