In a remote farmhouse, an elderly couple are coming to terms with needing assistance. Edie’s mind is slowly unravelling, and Arthur can no longer cope with caring for her and running the farm. Their son Stephen, who rarely visits, has domestic problems of his own, so they have turned to a young carer, Kate, to help them.
The play focuses on the stresses of growing old but also calls into question the choices we make at every stage of our lives.
