Running: When Less Is More
Spring is in the air and with that, so many runners have come out of hibernation to start working toward their big summer and fall training goals! When the weather warms up and we get more daylight hours to play in, the temptation is all too big to start doing too much, too quickly. In this workshop, Jen will address the importance of finding the right balance of running with supportive exercises, adjusted training as needed for common aches and pains, and understanding why more training is not always better training.

ABOUT
Jen Raby
Jen's journey into personal fitness began in 2008, after running her first marathon and discovering she wanted to learn much more about how the body develops and adapts. She entered a year-long personal trainer program as part of her college curriculum, where she began to learn about the importance of strength training to support all levels of activity and fitness goals. After several years of experience with a variety of clients as a group fitness instructor and trainer at a large chain gym, Jen started her own business where she could take more time to address the unique needs of each client in a private, comfortable environment. Currently, Jen is an active ultra-marathon runner who is training for her tenth 100-mile race! And with over a decade of training experience, on top of her own growth as a parent, wife, and a runner, Jen is eager to help everyone find an approach to training that not only supports their goals, but fits in with existing life demands and, most importantly, can become a part of their lives that they enjoy!
