About this Event
RunMotion x UT Whistler Community Trail Run
This is a relaxed, social run built around two goals: getting Vancouver's trail running community together, and helping aspiring trail runners get ready for the UTMB Whistler 10K and 25K.
Along the way we'll cover what to expect on race weekend, how to train for the climbs and descents at Whistler, pacing strategy for technical terrain, fueling on trail, gear choices, and the practical questions new trail runners usually have.
Whether you're already signed up for UTMB Whistler, thinking about it, or just want to log a few kilometres with good people in the forest, you're welcome here.
What to bring:
- Trail shoes (road shoes are fine if it's all you have)
- Layers, since temperatures drop quickly in the park
Free to attend. Spots are limited so registration is encouraged.
