About this Event
Join us underneath the southern Arizona skies for the latest installment of our Long Table dinner series. On April 11th we are partnering with Chef Marcus van Winden of Atlas Catering Company for a "French cuisine from around the world" three course dinner.
As the name suggests, guests are seated at a long table surrounded by the natural landscape that Rune is known for. Enjoy the sunset and twilight all while being served dinner and wine by our staff. This is truly a special experience and a lovely way to enjoy Rune outside of regular hours.
The Menu
Hors d'oeuvres- Stocafi a la monegasque (Monaco) "Salt cured" Cod in stew tomato sauce with black olives, onions, olive oil, herbs' d provence & paired with Rune's 2024 Rosé.
Starter- Poisson Cru au Lait De Coco (French Polynesia-Papeete) Ahi Tuna marinated in coconut and lime & paired with Rune's 2023 Roussanne.
First Course- Crabe et Riz (St. Martin-French Caribbean) This classic crab and rice dish is a local favorite, traditionally eaten during the Easter holy weekend when families gather on the beach. Paired with Rune's 2023 Grenache.
Main Course- Gigot d'Agneau (Mainland- Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) Brined and roasted leg of lamb, ratatouille, potato gratin, and lamb au jus. Paired with Rune's 2022 Petite Sirah.
Dessert- Tarte au sucre Francaise (Quebec- French Canadian) Traditional French-Canadian pie with a rich, caramel-like filling made with maple syrup & paired with a barrel tasting of our Port Wine.
