About this Event
Join Carlos Sánchez, the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize Winner of the Best Book for Younger Readers 2025 with his graphic novel, Rune: The Tale of a Thousand Faces as he joins us for an exclusive event to discuss the secrets of making graphic novels and how the characters, the world, and the creatures in the Rune graphic novels were created and developed. He’ll introduce children to the world of Puddin’ and its characters, from Chiri and her fascination with cooking and sweets, to Boniato, the Pillowgoat who spends much of the day sleeping.
Suitable for budding comic book fans and creators aged 8 + years
Please note: the book and ticket options include a copy of Rune: The Tale of a Thousand Faces (RRP £10.99) or Rune: The Tale of the Obsidian Maze (RRP £10.99), available for collection at the event.
Please especially note that children must be accompanied by an adult (who must also purchase a ticket) in order to gain entry to the venue and to remain in the venue for the duration of the performance.
