About this Event
RUN with a Recruiter (RWAR) is now on tour! This RWAR tour stop will be in District 5 and will commence from the Calgary Police Service HQ, located at 5111 47 Street NE. There is free parking. NOTE: Upon attending, press the button at the gate and indicate to security you are there for RWAR. The meeting point will be inside the foyer indicated by the red star.
Spring is here, and RWAR is going on tour throughout the city until the end of September. This will give participants an experience in all eight districts within the city, an opportunity to connect with police officers that serve in those districts, get in a workout, and meet other like-minded people interested in a policing career.
Participants will be greeted at the meeting point and complete waivers at 5:30 a.m. The RWAR session will commence at 6 a.m. and will accommodate all fitness levels. Each session is led by Sgt. Angela Tetley and/or Const. Brennan Martin. See you soon!
CHANGES FOR 2026: Make sure to register because in the event of poor weather, RWAR will reset to the CPS West Winds East building GYM located at 5111 47 street NE.
What this means for you? Make sure to check your email the day of the event in case RWAR will be re-located in the WWE gym. If RWAR is re-located to the gym, BRING PHOTO ID, and a water bottle. When you attend the security gate, press the security button and inform them that you are attending RWAR. Then meet in the lobby at 0530 hours to complete waivers. The session will commence at 0600 hours and will be led by Sgt. Angela Tetley and/or Constable Brennan Martin.
