Run the Runways Fun Run at Floyd Bennett Field

Celebrate New York City's first municipal airport—dedicated in May 1931—with a day of fun, movement, and adventure! Lace up your sneakers and join us for a 2-mile fun run / walk along the same historic airstrips where aviation legends once soared. Then keep the party going with an afternoon picnic (BYOP), music, lawn games and creativity. Come run, dance, explore, and celebrate the legacy of this park while making new memories with family and friends. All ages are welcome.

What to Expect - Fun Run

• Runners should check in between 10:00 and 11:00 am and collect their bibs.
• The fun run will begin at 11:00 am. All are welcome to run and we encourage supporters to bring signs to cheer their friends and family on!
• Additional activities listed below will begin on the lawn at 11:00 am.
