Run off all the dinner rolls, turkey, stuffing and pie with us at Red Top Mountain State Park the day after Thanksgiving!! Option to run either a 3.5 mile loop or 6 mile loop. If you want to run further you are welcome to get more mileage by repeating the loops or running more of the trails in the park.
ALL PACES AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS ARE WELCOME!! This run is about celebrating gratitude and camaraderie to this wonderful trail running community. By bringing us all together in one place, conquer some miles, then hang out for a laid back potluck afterwards!
Where:

When:
Meet at 10am. We will begin running at 10:15 ish to make sure everyone can make it.
What:
The purpose of this run is to bring people together to celebrate trail running and our gratitude for the community, by running together and sharing food and hanging out after! The real fun will be in the post run hangout - make sure to bring some Thanksgiving leftovers and other snackies to share while we all enjoy the holiday weekend.
Paper plates and cutlery will be provided, so just bring whatever food ya got sitting in the fridge and we will set everything up after the run.
Route:
3.5 mile or 6 miles.
We will start from the parking lot by taking the sweet gum trail to the homestead trail, looping it around (north side of the park) and running the sweet gum trail back to the parking lot. (3.5 miles) From there, for those who want to run the 6 miles you will take the lakeside trail back to the sweet gum trail, until you get back on the homestead trail to get back to the parking lot.
