The Run for the Hills Trails Races features a 1-mile fun run/walk, 5K trail run, 10K and half marathon. Each course will feature some of the many hills within Chadron State Park and the Nebraska National Forest.The 2026 races are part of Chadron State Park's birthday celebration! Plan for a day of fun after the race and take part in the many events Chadron State Park has planned. Past events have included a car show, sloppy joes, archery, educational sessions, and more!
