In partnership with Palestinian Youth Movement We’re pleased to announce our forth charity soccer event ! On July 13th,2024, we’ll be holding a fundraising soccer tournament to fundraise for Provision of Emergency Food and Health Services in Gaza.
What better way to celebrate a successful 13th annual run other than by joining the Run for Palestine team for an exciting soccer game!?

This year, Run for Palestine National is partnering with Islamic Relief Canada to support the Provision of Emergency Food and Health Services in Gaza.
Event Details
Date: Saturday July 13th
Time: 12:30 PM- 8:00 PM
Location: Bruce Reynolds Park (2173 Springbank Rd, Mississauga, ON L5H 3N5)
Tournament Format:
Outdoor 7 aside (goalie + 6 players)
25 minute games, no halves (Tournament style)
Open to All, minimum age is 18
Each team is guaranteed minimum three games
Self-officiated games according to standard co-ed recreational game rules
Registration/Details
Registration Fee per team: $500 (8-10 Players)
Medals for finalists and runner-ups (Max 10 medals available/team)
Registration is done as a team. However, each team captain should fill out the following form:

Schedule
Check-in at 12:30 PM
The first round of games 1:00 PM
The tournament finished by 8:00 PM
The game schedule will be posted once finalized
Day of the Event
Arrive 30 minutes before the event begins for set up and warm up
Make sure all team members are wearing the designated Jersey colored assigned.
Refreshments are provided to each team the day of the event: one pack of 36 bottles of water plus a pack of protein bars
Equipment/Attire:
Outdoor soccer cleats, indoor soccer shoes or turf shoes are allowed. Use of shin pads is highly recommended to reduce the risk of injury.
Defaults/Forfeits:
A 10-minute default rule will apply if the minimum number of players (5 players) are not present on the field at the start of the game. If the minimum number of players are not present after 5 minutes, the opposing team will gain a 1-goal advantage. 5 minutes after that, if the minimum number of players are still not present, the opposing team gets an automatic WIN with the final score being 2-0.
The Game Rules
Offsides: Not applicable.
Substitutions: Substitutions will be made on the fly and at any stoppage of play with the acknowledgment of the referee.
Slide Tackling: There is absolutely NO slide tackling at any time when on the pitch. Any slide tackle being made will result in an automatic red card and the team will be playing shorthanded.
Free kicks: All free kicks are indirect, all opposing players must be a minimum of 3 meters from the kick.
POINT SYSTEM
Win: Three (3) points
Draw: One (1) point
Loss: Zero (0) points
