The Community School of the Arts is excited to announce that tickets are on sale now for the CSA Civic Theatre production of Rumors, the fast-paced farce by legendary playwright Neil Simon. Performances will take place April 10th & 11th and 17th & 18th at 7pm, with matinees on April 12th and 19th at 2pm at the James Dean Memorial Theater.
In Rumors, four couples gather for what should be a celebratory anniversary party—only to discover that the host has been mysteriously injured and his wife is nowhere to be found. In an effort to protect their reputations (and avoid scandal), the guests attempt to cover up the situation, leading to a cascade of miscommunications, outrageous lies, and nonstop laughter. Packed with quick wit, slamming doors, and escalating chaos, this classic comedy is a brilliant showcase of timing and ensemble performance.
Content Advisory: Rumors contains adult themes, strong language, references to violence and gunshots, and mature comedic situations. This production is recommended for teen and adult audiences.
We invite all of Grant County to join us for an evening of laughter and live theatre at its finest. Tickets can be purchased at www.csa-marion.com/tickets or in person at CSA, 305 S. Adams Street, Marion, Monday through Thursday from 10am to 8pm. Tickets will also be available at the door beginning one hour before showtime. Doors open for seating 30 minutes prior to each performance.
