Join us for an afternoon of community, creativity, and tranquil beauty at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden.
Vancouver Queer Photowalk is heading to one of Vancouver’s most peaceful and iconic landmarks. This is a space to connect through photography while taking in the stunning architecture and scholar’s garden atmosphere.
Whether you are shooting on a professional camera, a vintage film setup, or just your phone, all skill levels are welcome!
The Garden is a not for profit organization and 2026 is a very special and meaningful year to this cultural gem. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden celebrates 40 years on April 24th 2026 of continuously bridging cultures and communities!
Admission & Ticketing
Please note that there is an admission fee to enter the Garden. You can purchase your tickets upon arrival:
Adults: $16.80
Students: $12.60 (Bring Student ID!)

Our Approach
To respect the peaceful nature of the Garden, we will be focusing on capturing the architecture and landscape rather than hosted staged shoots. Let’s enjoy the tranquility and the light together!
