Hounslow Heath is a Local Nature Reserve covering approximately 200 acres of mixed woodland, grassland and heathland which is all that remains of a far larger historic heathland area that once covered over 4000 acres. It’s a good site for common warblers such as Whitethroat which breeds in good numbers and possibly Garden Warbler and Lesser Whitethroat. It can also attract passage migrants such as Whinchat.

Bus stop on the Staines Rd about 50 yards from the car park for 116, 117 and 235 buses.
