About this Event

The RSAW Large Practice network invite you to attend a focused session exploring the implementation of the Building Safety Act in Wales, featuring insights from across the construction and architecture sector. The event will include presentations from an architect in England sharing their experiences since the secondary legislation came into force, as well as a contribution from Kimberley Harris, Senior Architect, Principal Designer & BIM Lead at Gaunt Francis Architects, who will discuss preparations underway in Wales ahead of implementation. We will also hear directly from the Building Safety Regulator in Wales.

Following the presentations, a panel discussion will bring together key voices to reflect on challenges, progress, and next steps. We hope to open the event with a short screening of a Grenfell documentary to underline the importance of this significant shift in the industry.
