Set in a fictional pre-independence India, RRR follows the story of two revolutionaries: Komaram Bheem (N.T. Rama Rao Jr.) seeks to rescue a child abducted by a British Governor, while Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and a colonial police officer, is assigned to catch him.
As Bheem and Raju cross paths and form an unlikely bond, they embark on a perilous rescue mission, each unaware of the other's true identity and motives. Ultimately coming together represented as forces of fire and water, they face a common enemy - British colonial rule.
The movie won Best Original Song with Keeravani’s viral hit Naatu Naatu at the 2023 Academy Awards® and Golden Globes®- never been achieved before by an Indian picture - featured in the Guardian's top 10 films of 2022, and grossed more than £120 million worldwide.
