ABOUT THE GAME
Spire is a fantasy-punk game of intrigue, subterfuge and sedition. Play as a cell of drow freedom fighters and claw back control of the city from your aelfir overlords, one small, messy, bloody victory at a time. In Spire, life is cheap, alliances are temporary, and magic is strange and perilous.
In this double shot, you and your fellows have been tasked with making sure things don’t go off the rails at the wedding of Valentin Yssen, Prince of the Home Nations to Cannelure, the first born child of Brother Hellion, High Priest of the Church of the Gun. This match would be a powerful alliance among the dissident and rebellious drow, which is maybe why so many people seem determined to ensure it fails…
Spire is a story-focused, balanced rule system that is easy to pick up and get obsessed with. Play materials will be available for everyone, but if you’d like to bring your own, bust out 5d10, a d6, and a d8.
We will utilize safety tools, and this particular doubleshot is a more lighthearted encounter in this system, but nevertheless content warnings for the following: violence, death, oppressive regime, forced servitude, weird body horror, guns, substance abuse.

ABOUT YOUR GM
Lara (they/she) has been eyeball-deep in love with TTRPGs for over ten years. Though new to GM-ing public games, they're an old hand at creating collaborative stories with other artists in theatrical and written media. - Side Quest Books & Games is located on the balcony of Bow Market in Somerville's Union Square. There is an elevator available in the Bow Market lobby, which is to the right of Pop's Pinball Parlor.
