On June 5th at 12pm, the public is invited to celebrate the opening of new asphalt art by Ashley Akerson on Royal St. in front of Jaxon Station and The Neely House. Join Our Jackson Home and the City of Jackson to hear from the artist, learn more about the art, and see the vibrance this piece adds to Royal St. Titled “Patterns of Home,” Ashley’s art will be installed with the help of volunteers on June 1-3.
