The Royal Showdown returns to Niagara from June 5–7, 2026, and with it comes one of the most electric weekends on the Ballhockey.com calendar.Following a hugely successful inaugural edition in 2025, the Royal Showdown has quickly established itself as a marquee event—one that brings together elite competition, top-tier facilities, and a fully immersive event experience. Last summer, over 25 teams across multiple age groups took to the floor, all chasing the ultimate prize: Championship Rings and the right to be crowned Royal Showdown champions.
In 2026, the stakes are even higher.
2026 Tournament Info
Dates: June 5–7, 2026
Entry Fee: $700 + HST per team
Roster Information:
Maximum roster size: 18 players per team, including goalie(s)
All rosters must comply with Ballhockey.com tournament guidelines
Tournament Format:
Three 10min stop-time periods
Round-robin play in all divisions, followed by single-elimination playoffs
Divisions Offered:
U8 (birthyears: 2018-2019)
U10 (birthyears: 2016-2017)
U12 (birthyears: 2014-2015)
U14 (birthyears: 2012-2013)
U16 (birthyears: 2010-2011)
U18 (birthyears: 2008-2009)
Championship Awards: Championship Rings awarded to divisional champions
