Described as a sensitive and heartfelt musician, pianist Roxana Ioana Circiu is a prize- winner of numerous national and international piano competitions.

At the age of 10, she won the Grand Prix of the National Piano Competition in memory of composer Paul Constantinescu, surpassing performers who were twice her age. Subsequently, Roxana won the first prize at the Rovere d’Oro International Piano Competition in San Bartolomeo al Mare.

Following these successes, Roxana made her orchestral debut at the age of 16 with the Banat Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Cristian Florea, performing L. van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, Op. 37. The ensuing years saw Roxana collaborate with Maestro Gheorghe Costin, which resulted in orchestral engagements in Germany and Romania. Further performances include solo and chamber appearances in Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany and France.

A passionate chamber musician, Roxana formed a dynamic piano duo with pianist Andrei Gologan. Together they present programs ranging from Mozart to Ravel and regularly perform concerts in venues such as the Stift Ossiach, the Schloss Arenberg Salzburg and the Wiener Rathaus.

A devoted advocate for music education, Roxana invests a large amount of her time in teaching future generations of musicians. Her pedagogical principals are based on empathic, positive and open-minded values. Her musical reasoning is rooted in the ideologies of Florica Musicescu and Ferenc Rados.

​Together with Andrei Gologan, Roxana co-founded the Salzburger Mozart Matineen, a festival dedicated to promoting young musicians, visual artists and actors in an interdisciplinary setting.

Inspiriert von den Meistern der Vergangenheit und neugierig auf die Zukunft der klassischen Musik, hat sich Andrei Gologan einen internationalen Ruf als nachdenklich stimmender Konzertpianist erworben. Seine poetischen Interpretationen werden von legendären Pianisten wie Sir András Schiff und Richard Goode unterstützt und haben zu Einladungen von einigen der wichtigsten europäischen Festivals und Konzertsälen geführt: Herkulessaal in München, Wigmore Hall in London, Schleswig-Holstein Festival, und Heidelberger Frühling unter anderem. Zu den nächsten Höhepunkten gehören Debütauftritte beim Enescu Festival in Bukarest (Brittens Klavierkonzert) und im Musikdorf Ernen. Außerhalb der Bühne ist Andrei ein begeisterter Konzert- und Festivalorganisator, genießt die Musik von Ignaz Friedman, Bill Evans und Sergiu Celibidache und begeistert sich für Literatur und analoge Fotografie.
