Rowan Stuart returns to The Bridge Inn, Topsham, on Wednesday 1 July 2026.Originally from South Africa and now based in Devon, Rowan Stuart creates atmospheric alternative music that blends soulful, expressive vocals, rhythmic guitar work, organic-electronic grooves, and cinematic atmosphere.
His songs move between intimacy and expansiveness, where earthy rhythm meets ethereal atmosphere - exploring themes of distance, belonging, imagination, melancholy, and quiet hope.
Performing with Exeter-based musicians Mattie James on bass guitar and Mitch Pike on percussion, Rowan’s live shows build from reflective stillness into immersive emotional release, creating an experience that feels intimate, atmospheric, and deeply human.
Rather than offering escape, his music finds moments of beauty, movement, and connection within the tension of real life.
Doors open at 7 pm, and the show begins at 7.30 pm.
