Through this weekend intensive students will be introduced to the method of Round-Wood Timber Framing. This method of building utilizes local lumber, renewable resources and traditional skills to build everything from sheds to houses. Students will be learning how to layout, measure and cut mortise and tenon joints, learning about construction methods, raising techniques, in addition learning about the variety of tools including chainsaws, chainsaw mills and hand-tools. Students will be learning the scribe technique of framing.Read below for more information. July 11 & 12 Saturday & Sunday 10 – 5pm
