Is your organization prepared for the unexpected? Join NPLI, the City of Appleton, and Outagamie County Emergency Management for an interactive roundtable designed specifically for nonprofits who host large-scale events. Together, we'll explore how to build a practical emergency preparedness plan that protects your attendees, staff, and volunteers, no matter what challenges arise.This event is for nonprofits within NPLI's service area (Outagamie, Calumet, Shawano, Waupaca Counties and Northern Winnebago County) who are involved in planning or overseeing public events, especially those that draw large crowds or take place in open or public spaces. If your organization hosts festivals, fundraisers, community gatherings, organized walks/runs, or any other large-scale events, this session will provide essential tools and insights to help you prepare for emergencies and protect your attendees, staff, and volunteers.
To provide a space for nonprofit leaders to learn and have open dialogue, attendance is limited to 50 people with a maximum of 2 persons per organization to provide time and space for authentic, peer-to-peer sharing.
