A two-day walking festival with various routes, live entertainment, and prizes for participants. The focus of the event is to bring people of different cultures and ethnicities together and to celebrate togetherness through walking.
The festival includes walks ranging from 10km to 42km each day and has people visiting from all over the world to take part. It also has great coffee and catering, a nocturnal walk (on Friday), and shorter charity walks (Rotorua Plunket Family Walk on Sat and SPCA Dog Walk on Sun). It features dual marathon walks, two days of walking 42kms per day, for the super fit.
