Rothenbach Park: Pop-Up Clean-Up

Welcome to Keep Sarasota County Beautifuls FIRST Pop-Up Clean-Up! For the first event, this will be done under the umbrella of the Greatest American Cleanup.

**This event will be Wednesday April 16, 8-10 a.m.**

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED WALK UP VOLUNTEERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED

Join Keep Sarasota County Beautiful on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Rothenbach Park for a morning of community service and positive impact. This will be a classic litter removal volunteer initiative. Locally, as part of the Greatest American Cleanup, a nationwide initiative led by Keep America Beautiful (KAB), we’re uniting with volunteers across the country to remove litter, revitalize public spaces, and make our communities cleaner and more vibrant. Important Event Info

WHERE TO MEET: We will meet at The Rothenbach Park Pavillion.

RELEASE FORMS: Release forms will be signed onsite.

TIME: Cleanup will begin at 8:00 AM.

WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes like sneakers, along with sun protection and clothing suitable for the weather. A GAC T-Shirt will be provided onsite. T-Shirts are limited by quantity and size. Volunteers who volunteered at the main event on Saturday, April 12 are encouraged to reuse their GAC shirt!

WHAT TO EXPECT: Keep Sarasota County Beautiful will provide all cleanup supplies which will be given onsite. There will be site captains onsite as well.

PARKING: Parking is available at the location. Carpooling is always encouraged!

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT

Info: When you first arrive, please check in and network with fellow volunteers. This is a great opportunity to meet like minded individuals within your community!

Info: During the main part of the event, you'll be actively removing litter from the cleanup site. This effort not only enhances the community but also has a positive impact on the surrounding environment. It's a fantastic opportunity to give back and make a meaningful difference!

Info: During the final part of the event, you'll report your litter collection to your site captains. This step is crucial, especially if you're tracking service hours. Your efforts have played a key role in keeping Sarasota County beautiful—thank you for making a difference!
