Join artist Adam Garratt to learn how to make a rotational template that allows you to produce a combination of collages that fold into each other. This workshop gives you space to think about how you can combine a set of collages to build a narrative.
The template will be made of card and the collages can be anything you can stick to the template. The surfaces within the rotational template change in size meaning you have to think about scale and detail within the folded faces. This collage format allows you to show layers of detail, extended information, micro collages or colour to support the ongoing narrative in your collage.
Expressions of Queerness are a series of FREE art workshops for 16-24-year-old LGBTQIA+ people (and allies!) at Studio KIND. Participants will be provided with a £5 travel bursary for each activity attended.
