The Rotary Pioneer Adventure Day at Old Tailem Town Pioneer Village is designed to give rural families a fun and economical day off their farms. This will be a day of entertainment, rides, live music, food, stalls, information, conversation and memorable experiences. It will be a day to reconnect and get re-inspired about life. A day to remember what being a family is all about.
Since February last year more than 600 farming families across South Australia registered to receive fodder through the Rotary Drought Relief program. If yours is one of those families we’d like to sponsor your attendance on the day.
As well as free entry to Old Tailem Town, sponsored families will receive vouchers that can be used for:
• A good feed;
• Kids activities including games and crafts;
• Horse drawn carriage rides;
• Haircuts;
• Free overnight camping at Tailem Bend oval.
There’ll be a Health Hub offering voucher holders free:
• Blood Pressure checks
• Heart Health checks
• Sugar Level monitoring
• Breast Screening
• Skin checks
• Mental health support + more
