Roswell's Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree is on Friday, December 5, 6:00-8:00 PM, at Heart of Roswell Park at Canton Street and Elizabeth Way. This is a free, festive family event. Join us for choral performances, hot chocolate, fire pits and s’mores, a special reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by Mayor Kurt Wilson, a visit from Santa Claus, and the culminating event: the lighting of a 40-foot tree at the center of Heart of Roswell park.
