ABOUT MICHAEL NED HOLTE
Michael Ned Holte is a writer, independent curator, and educator living in Los Angeles. He is the author of Good Listener: Meditations on Music and Pauline Oliveros (Sming Sming Books, 2024). His curatorial projects include “how we are in time and space: Nancy Buchanan, Marcia Hafif, Barbara T. Smith,” at the Armory Center for the Arts, Pasadena (2022), “Routine Pleasures” at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House, Los Angeles (2016), and “Made in L.A. 2014” at the Hammer Museum. Holte currently serves as Associate Dean for the CalArts School of Art.
ABOUT ROSKI TALKS
The USC Roski School’s Roski Talks lecture series offers engaging weekly presentations from leading visual artists, design innovators, scholars, performance artists, architects, and other influential figures throughout the academic year. These events are a popular among the Roski community and frequently attract members of the public.
