ABOUT GINA OSTERLOH
Gina Osterloh’s photo tableaux use symbolic forms such as the room, masks, and the grid as strategies of refusal, potential, and agency. Solo exhibitions of her work include MOCA Detroit and the Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio. Osterloh holds an MFA in Studio Art from the University of California, Irvine and is an Associate Professor of Art at The Ohio State University. Her work is represented by Higher Pictures and Silverlens Galleries. Gina Osterloh is a recipient of a Nancy Graves Grant for Visual Artists, a Headlands Center for the Arts Residency, and the Guggenheim Fellowship.
