A monthly women’s gathering for rest, rejuvenation, and celebration of life.
About this Event

This month we have a second month of "Adar". This happens every 7 years to make sure our holidays fall somewhat near their usual date.
Our theme again is The JOY of Oneness!
Spring is on it's way. Let's celebrate what brings us joy and share in community together.
In ancient times, in honor of nature and their natural body cycles, women* of our tribe gathered to rest, rejuvenate, and to solidify their friendships. Today, we honor this tradition every month by gathering to celebrate Rosh Chodesh, the Jewish new moon holiday.

Did you know that Jewish mysticism teaches that each month carries a certain energy? Do you ever feel like you don't have any energy to take care of yourself?

In our Rosh Chodesh circle, we'll explore energy, embodiment, and the soul. We'll learn about the wisdom of Jewish mysticism, with its connections between lunar months, Hebrew letters, and the Tree of Life. We'll use movement, sound, and meaningful conversation to open ourselves to joy, peace, clarity, and connection to ourselves and our sisterhood. We'll focus our energy on Tikkun HaNefesh, or healing the soul.

In a world that is moving very quickly, many people find it is important (and necessary) to slow down and listen within. This monthly practice will help us do just that.

* This monthly gathering is open to all who identify as women. Given the nature of the moon-related holiday, we won't shy away from conversations about menstrual cycles, motherhood, girl power, nor any other womanly topic in between. Bring your openness!

Analesa Berg will host these circles. Analesa has been leading women’s groups for over 25 years. She is a transformational artist who created “The Keys of Genesis,” 23 Hebrew letter mandalas, which came to her in 30 days of silence. She is a heart-centered guide for people wanting to embody, trust and follow their own internal wisdom. She is thrilled to offer support to East Side Tribe members through healing arts, circle practice, and the wisdom of Kabbalah (ancient Jewish teachings).

Honoring what is called “the new care economy,” Analesa will offer this monthly gathering on a donation basis. Listen to your heart and give from there. This is good practice for honoring yourself and contributing to the caring relationships you want to foster in our world.
