Rosey Lee writes stories about complicated families and complex friendships, but a happy ending is guaranteed. As a child, Rosey dreamed of a career in writing, fashion design, and acting. She uses the pen name Rosey Lee as she pursues her passion for writing. Her alter ego is a physician who has dedicated her career to individual and community-based approaches to health equity. Rosey’s essays have appeared in Writer’s Digest, The Nerd Daily, and Deep South Magazine. She is the author of The Gardins of Edin and A Gardin Wedding.
Marcie L. Thomas is the Founder and Chief Creative Curator of Brown Girl Collective, an online community celebrating Black women's boldness, brilliance, and beauty. Established in 2009, the Collective has grown to include the "Live Well, Sister!" live cast, which focuses on holistic well-being, and the BGC Book Club, launched in April 2020. Since then, Marcie has interviewed over 300 Black women writers and storytellers across the African diaspora. She continues to inspire and connect Black women worldwide through her work, fostering a sense of community and shared cultural pride.
