Rose gardens have had a focus in our Botanic Garden since 1886 when they were established in the area of Hector's Teaching Garden. In this walk we will enjoy the roses as they keep on repeating new blooms and giving pleasure throughout the summer season. We will learn how hybridisers and their families have fallen in love with roses, devoting their lives to develop varieties influenced by history and those they wanted to remember.Meet at the Lady Norwood Rose Garden beside the Begonia House
