Members of the Wellington Xiamen Association will host a special tea ceremony demonstration, sharing the artistry, history, and cultural significance of tea from Xiamen, Wellington’s ‘sister city’ and home to some of China’s finest teas. This is a chance to pause, connect, and experience the beauty of tea culture in a welcoming setting. Wander through, listen to stories, and soak up the atmosphere as we mark the beginning of the Year of the Horse.
