Tom Stoppard’s absurdist classic Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead focuses on two minor characters from Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
The action takes place largely 'in the wings' of Hamlet, with appearances by major characters performing fragments of the original play and a group of tragedians (a travelling group of actors) led by The Player.
We follow the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern as they fumble through fate and friendship while events from Hamlet unfold just out of reach.
The production offers something for everyone, whether you're a Shakespeare lover or a theatre newbie.
