Rose Revival Public Hearing - School Councils, Boards & Decision-Making

Join the Kentucky Student Voice Team for our fifth Rose Revival Hearing in Lexington! This event will explore how decisions are made in our schools—from local school councils to school district boards—and why understanding these power structures is essential for students, families, and communities.

Students, educators and community members will hear from expert witnesses. KSVT student examiners will lead questioning, and attendees will have opportunities to participate in a Q&A.

We invite all Kentuckians interested in helping our state’s public schools.

This hearing is part of the Rose Revival Campaign’s statewide effort to uplift policy solutions to the allegations in the KSVT v. Commonwealth of Kentucky litigation. Join us to be part of the conversation and help shape the future of our classrooms!
