In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, The Rose Hill Police Department and Butler County Fire District #3 are teaming up for a friendly first responder competition to see who will collect the most items for our food drive. Join us at both Dollar General Stores for a 1st Annual “Rose Hill Holiday Food Fight” which is quickly approaching. We will be collecting non-perishable food items, toys and monetary donations to be delivered to Hope Connections of SW Butler County to assist families in need in the community.TEAM POLICE will collect at Dollar General North
TEAM FIRE will collect at Dollar General South
NEEDS INCLUDE:
New toys for all ages, puzzles, dolls, hot wheels, new coloring books, adult coloring books (for older teens), colored pencils, pencil sharpeners, journals, brain teaser puzzles, deodorant, hairbrushes and toothpaste, laundry soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, blankets and winter clothing (hats, scarfs, gloves, etc.)
FOOD ITEMS:
Snacks, goldfish crackers, pop tarts, fruit snacks, canned fruit/veggies, cereals, peanut butter, teddy grahams, granola bars, rice Krispy treats, crackers, chips, canned beans, canned soups, pasta, pasta sauces, rice, boxed potatoes, juice, macaroni and cheese, holiday meal items, baking needs (flour & sugar) and all other non-perishable food items.
