Rose Cole’s artistic desires are bundled up with her lifelong inclination to watch people. She started writing original material from the young age of 10 - usually from the perspective of who she deemed to be older, ‘cooler’ people - Now, at 23 years old, she feels like this was “practice for processing the incoming onslaught of hormonal and emotional terror” that adolescence and early adulthood would bring. With lyricism that always tows the line between being hyper-specific in detail and stomach-dropping in relatability, Rose doesn’t want to experience her most outrageous thoughts and views about the world alone, and the reassuring way people seem to respond to her music leads her to the suspect that no one else does either. Rose’s unfiltered approach to lyricism is what makes her both a reliable and unpredictable wordsmith. Her narration borders autobiographical when it needs to, but Rose wouldn’t dream of skimping you out on a big hook you can sing-along to - or violently scream along with. Experimenting with genre-transcending soundscapes that blend elements of pop, rock, and alternative indie - Rose has haphazardly spent her life building a limitless sonic world to dance, laugh and cry within - and as she gears up to release her debut EP in 2026, she wants you to know you're welcome to come visit anytime!
