March 29th Dissonant Works is honored to welcome Roscoe Mitchell to our listening room. Roscoe Mitchell is a founding member of both the Art Ensemble of
Chicago & the AACM & has a long list of incredible project under his own name including his monumental solo performance of his composition
Nonaah. He has been focusing on the bass saxophone in recent years. He
joins St. Louis's own legend, devout poet K Curtis Lyle, one of the
great jazz poets, known for his association with Julius Hemphill, the
Watts Writers Workshop & much more, and improvising bassist
