About the artists:
Rory Dinwoodie is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist hailing from the South West of England. Known for his distinctive blend of indie folk, jazz, soul, and ambient choral elements, his music offers a unique soundscape that resonates with depth and emotion. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Jeff Buckley, Bon Iver and Big Thief, Rory's work is characterized by smooth, soulful vocals, harmonically rich arrangements, and a creative fusion of traditional and modern styles. Since emerging onto the music scene, Rory has captivated listeners with his introspective lyrics and innovative musical approach. With each new track, Rory continues to evolve as an artist, pushing the boundaries of his craft while staying true to the heartfelt authenticity that defines his music.
Marianne Collective (marianne) is a London-based alternative/indie ensemble. The four-piece is a jarred coalescence of folk/soul roots (courtesy of lead vocalist/pianist Rory Dinwoodie), deep pocket grooves (stickman Vic V.L. Palmer), funk/soul basslines (Arseniy Butyrin) and alternative/college rock flourishes (Q Zanjani, guitarist/vocalist). The band have just released their third single 'Lisbon' after a sold out headline show at the Hope and Anchor, Islington.
