About this Event
This short film lineup connects stories from Democratic Republic of the Congo, Colombia, Ciudad Juárez, Palestine, and asylum seekers in the United States.
Through themes of extraction, militarization, femicide, and displacement, the films expose how global systems of power shape everyday life. Centering resistance and ingenuity, this program probes not only violence, but the structures that sustain it, and the lives that refuse to be erased.
