About this Event
Roots to Resilience is a free March youth empowerment and wellness program created by The A.D.E.R.I.Y.E Project Foundation for Black and racialized youth in Brampton. Designed as a twice‑weekly, 90‑minute community experience, the program offers a welcoming, culturally grounded space where young people can explore identity, build confidence, and strengthen emotional well‑being. Each session blends hands‑on activities, guided journaling, group discussions, and creative expression to help youth understand who they are, where they come from, and how to navigate stress, emotions, and everyday challenges. The environment is intentionally warm and supportive, with food and refreshments provided at every session to help youth settle in and feel cared for. Transportation stipends are available to remove barriers and ensure full participation. The program creates a space for belonging, growth, and resilience during a key moment in the school year.
