What is it?A 6-Week Art-Based Personal Development Workshop
This six-week workshop is a guided, small-group journey of self-exploration using creative and reflective practices. Through a combination of discussion, gentle body-based awareness, relaxation, and hands-on art-making, participants are invited to explore who they are, where they come from, where they are now, and how they want to grow. The workshop cycle is mainly developed for expats who would like to reflect on their experiences of living in another country (Hungarians who like to be in an international setting are also welcome)
The structure of the workshop follows the metaphor of a tree, moving through Roots, Trunk, and Crown, and gradually creating a personal “tree of strength” across the six weeks. Each session builds on the last, allowing insights to deepen and take shape over time.
No artistic experience is needed. The focus is not on creating “beautiful” art, but on expression, reflection, and personal meaning.
What to expect?
A 6-week closed group that meets weekly, allowing for safety, continuity, and trust.
Each session lasts 3 hours and includes:
- Opening and closing circles
- Reflective and cognitive exercises
- Gentle body-awareness and relaxation
- A main creative exercise using different artistic media
- Group sharing and discussion (always optional)
- Break for snacks and beverages & connection
Different art materials and techniques each week, such as collage, drawing, pastels, clay, painting, and mixed media
Light between-session reflections and home practices to support integration.
