On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica with unimaginable force. As a Category 5 storm packing winds of 185 mph, it became the most powerful hurricane in the island’s recorded history. Homes were flattened, communities submerged, lives shattered. Families lost everything in a matter of hours — their shelter, their safety, their sense of normalcy.
But in the face of devastation, the Jamaican spirit remains unbreakable.
