About this Event
Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself and the natural world through the art of mindful nature journaling.
Join us for Rooted Reflections, a women’s workshop designed to help you cultivate presence, creativity, and connection in a beautiful outdoor setting. We’ll explore the basics of nature journaling as a mindfulness practice—learning how to observe with curiosity, capture sensory details, and express reflections through words or simple sketches.
After a gentle guided mindfulness practice to warm up your senses, you'll be given instructions for nature journaling. Then we will explore the Old Forest and lawn together to find a spot that opens up your curiosity. There you’ll have quiet time to notice and journal in your own space. We’ll then come together in community to share insights and listen deeply to one another’s experiences.
This workshop is for all women who long to slow down, connect more deeply with nature, and build meaningful community with like-minded others. No art or writing experience is needed—just bring an open heart and a sense of wonder.
What we provide:
You will be given your own journal, pencil, pen, colored pencils, and magnifying glass, but feel free to bring your own materials, if you prefer. Let us know if you need a folding chair, we have a few to lend out.
Come root yourself in presence and reflection—you’ll leave feeling grounded, inspired, and connected.
